The graph illustrates, the employment in freedonia by gender in six sectors for 1975. The sectors discussed are public sector (defence), public sector (non-defence), wholesale and retail trade, finance/ banking, communications and manufacturing. In public sector (defence) for both men and women the rate is minimum which is approximately 300 and 100 respectively. Followed by, communications with around 300 employees for each gender. The major gap between number of men and women employed can be seen in finance/ banking and manufacturing sector. The wholesale and retail trade has the number of females employed are about 600. On the other hand, the of males employed are around 900. Therefore, the graph depicts the number of employees per 1000. In all the sectors the number of women employed was lower. On the contrary, the number of men employed is throughout higher. The maximum employment for male and female is in public sector (non-defence) which is nearly 900 and 700 respectively.
