The chart below shows the number of trips made by children in one country in 1990 and 2010 to travel to and from school using different modes of transport. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

This chart shows the number of trips using different transportations method by children in one country in1990 and 2010. The. modes of transport were by car, walking, cycling, walking and by bus and by bus only, As we can see walking was the most used method in 1990, yet it by 2010 it decreased deeply to be replaced by other methods. A car passenger for example was 4 millions per year in 1990, yet extremely increased to 11 million per year in 2010. Walking, on the other hand, decreased excessivly to the half through the years from 1990 and to 2010, going from above 12 million to 6 millions per year. Besides walking, the number of trips made by cycling have also decreased tremendously from 6 millions to 2 millions per year. Moreover, the bus option method have decreased yet not tremendously as the rest of the options. And both of using the walking and bus option decreased, therefore it's reasonable that the number of trips in a year walking and taking bus altogether would decrease through the year. To conclude, as its seen in the bar graph the generally nearly all transportation methods have decreased in the number of trips per year and was replace with car passenger option which reflect in the tremendous increase i it's number in 2010.
