The given time series graph provides the information regarding the admissions of foriegn and local students in Australian universities over a decade. Overall, it can be observed that the total number of local children enrolling and commencing their studies has always been higher than the overseas students from 2001 to 2010. Though, the amount of students begninning their course has been less compared to the total count. In the year 2001, the total number of foriegn students were 20000 and this has drastically increased to 80000 by 2010. Whereas, the ratio of foriegn students who actually started there classses in this period of 10 years, always remained the half of the total number of students. However, total amount of local students opting for the universities was 400000 in 2001. There was a steady rise in this number which reached it's high point of 600000 in 2007 and then became stagnant till the end. Although, the graph fluctuated for the amount of local students actually starting their courses in these universities. It saw a slight growth from 2001 to 2002 where it peaked at 230000 and then decreased a bit till 2006 and came below 200000. It again increased till 2008 and then fell down to almost 200000 in 2010.
