The column graph illustrates the percentage of men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010, in Australia. In general, women were more active than men in 4 out of 6 different age groups shown here whereas men were more active in the younger age group. The percentage of active men and women in one age group is almost similar. Men in the age group of 15 to 24 were the most active amongst men of all age groups. The 15 to 24 age group is the only age group in which men(52. 8%) are more active than women(47. 7%). Men in the age group of 35 to 44 were the least active amongst men and women of all age groups. On the other hand, women in the age group of 45 to 54 were the most active. Women in the age group of 65 and over were the least active amongst women of all other age groups. It can be seen that the percentage of active men and women above the 65+ age group is almost equal.
