The maps provide information about what the status of Bangor town was in 2018 and how it is going to be enhanced in 2028. Overall, it can clearly be seen that there will be a significant change in Bangor town’s structure from a rural area to a residential area. The church and the forest are planned to be demolished, whereas the restaurant and some independent shops will be replaced. Looking at the first map for more details, it is evident that there was a church in the Northeast of the town. Below the church, there was a lake, by which the community center was located. A large forest was situated in the Southeast of the town, which was next to the lake and the center. In the Southwest, a cafe was between the train station on the left and the forest on the right. To the West, there were three small shops, namely a butchers, bakery and grocers. The Northwest was the location of a restaurant and a hotel above it. Turning to the second map, it can be seen that the town will be developed further. The church, which was in the Northeast, will be demolished to have more space in order to build many houses. Furthermore, although the lake will remain unchanged, the community center is planned to be converted to a cinema with smaller size. The forest is planned to be reduced and shops, a fast food restaurant and travel agents are going to be built next to the forest. The Train station and café in the Southwest will be kept in the same place as they were. Independent shops will be arranged to be replaced and regained with a bigger supermarket. In the Northwest, the hotel resembles the last situation. However, the restaurant will be divided into two smaller buildings for the purpose of constructing café and car park.
