The graph illustrates waste recycling rates in the USA from 1960 to 2011. It shows how much garbage recycling in tons and the percentage of it. Overall, it can be seen that, litter recycling in USA after 1985 increased remarkably despite the big proportion of litter still have not been reused. Between the year in 1960 and 1970, the amount of waste was recycled almost stand as a constant where is at just over 6%. However, in 1985 more that 14 tons of garbage was recycled and it was tripled the amount of waste mass during the same period. In addition the percent recycling over total weight developed by nearly 2% after 5 years.
