The given column graph provides the information about carbon emissions from three fossil fuels namely Gas, Oil and Coal in the UK from 1990 to 2010. Units are measured in a million tons. Overall, the emissions from gas showed upward trend and from coal showed downward trend while, the emissions from oil fluctuated over the period. In 1990, the greenhouse gas emissions from gas stood at 210 million tons. However, these emissions increased gradually and reached at nearly 320 million tons by 2010. In contrast, the emissions from coal fell markedly from 310 million tons to 190 million tons over the given period of twenty years. On the other hand, the carbon emissions from oil showed number of fluctuations till 2000. However, there was a slight decline in the figure of carbon emission and peaked at 210 million tons from 270 million tons in 2010.
