The illustrated line graph demonstrates the character of products transported in the UK by various types of transportation. In overview, most of the products was sent by road during all years and the least favorite one was pipeline. In 1974, almost 70 million tons of goods were transported via roads. Its value for waterway and railway was almost the same and equal to 40 million tons. It is considerable that only 5 million ton of productions had sent via pipeline. In 2002, the goods which had been transferred by road had a dramatic rise and reached to 100 million tons. In other word, during 28 years, 30 million more products were sent by roads. Also 60 million of them were sent by water. But, the goods in which were transferred by rail were fixed and not altered. Finally, there were an increase in the goods which were sent via pipeline and it attained to 20 million tons.
