The line chart below indicates how many Canadian people graduated from the university between 1992 and 2007. Overall, it is clear from the chart that women finished their education more than men over this time period. The total number of graduate students fluctuated from 1995 to 2000. However, it sharply increased since 2001. The purple line highlighted that in 1992 there were not more than 100, 000 women who graduated from university but it grew constantly to around 105, 000 university graduates in 1995. After that, the figures were slightly decreased to almost the same level as in 1992 before it climbed and reached a peak during 2006. We can see a similar trend on the blue line which shows the total number of boys who finished their classes at the same time but with less number. There were only 70, 000 boys who graduated from university in 1992, 30% lower than girls. In the year of 1995, its proportion also rose to 77, 000 students before it declined in a later year. However, it sharply increased since 2001 and gradually grew until 2006.
