From a general perspective, the number of inquiries received in person and by telephone experienced an upward trend, whereas those received by letter or email experienced a downward trend over the surveyed period.
The number of inquiries received in person increased dramatically from over 400 in January to 800 in March, following it continuously rose up to the highest point, at over 1800 in June. On the other hand, the number of inquiries that Tourist Information collected via telephone oscillated between 800 and 1000 from January and March, and it leveled off in April before reaching a peak in June, at 1600.
During the first quarter of 2011, the number of inquiries receiving through letters or emails remained the stabilization at around 700 compared to approximately 400 at the end of the surveyed period.
