The graph illustrates the information about the four different noise related complaints that Environmental Health authorities in the city of Newtown received from 1990 to 1996.
Overall, the complaints related to domestic and household, traffic noise and factories increased over time except for road work. The number of complaints of Road work initially was the highest but became the least at the end of the period.

The data of domestic and household was the second highest while the complaint related to factories was slightly less than domestic and household, roughly 400 and 500 respectively.
From 1988 to 1996, the data of domestic and household experienced a drastic rise from 400 to slightly above 1200 and became the main complaint in 1996. Similarly, the number of traffic noise complaints rose more than threefold from 200 to 600.
