The first chart depicts the rate of marriages and divorces of adult from 1970 to 2000while other chart illustrates the marital status of men and women in year year 1970 and 2000 in the USA. Overall, number of marriages were more in those years compared to divorces and in second bar chartthe percentage of married people were more compared with other status. In 1970and in 1980, 2. 5 millions marriage had happened whereas in 1990 and 2000, it was (around 2. 3 millions and 2 millions respectively).
