The graph below shows the differences in wheat exports over three different areas. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The line graph compares wheat exports from 1985 to 1990(in million tonnes) in Australia, Canada and European Community. It is clear that the number of wheat exports in Canada showed the highest level of fluctuation. By contrast, the situation for the figure for Australia and European Community was relative steadily. In more detail, in terms of Canada, the number of wheat exports was approximately 19(in million tonnes) in 1985. This figure witnessed a slightly decrease to 17 in the next following year. Then it rose significantly, reaching 25 in 1988, but the situation was reversed in the next year, when it declined dramatically to only 14 before climbing to 18 in the finally year. As for Australia and European Community, the number of wheat exports in these two countries were 15(in million tonnes) and 17 respectively in 1985. The figure for wheat exports for the former was followed by about 1 ascend in 1986, while that for the latter’s exports saw a noticeable descend, reaching 14. In the next 4 years, the number of wheat exports fell slowly to 12 in 1990. However, the same period had witnessed a pronounced growth in the figure for European Community’s wheat exports.
