The graph provides information on the percentage of UK population who watch television and listen to radio in a day in 1992. Overall, both the trends of television and radio are fluctuating, which started at a slow rate but experienced steady increase as well as decrease in different time periods of the day and gradually ended at low percentages by the end of the day. The percentage of people listening to radio started at a low rate of about 6% in the beginning of the day followed by a consistent growth to about 30% at 8am in the morning. After that, the number started to decline steadily with minor increases in-between and finally ending at less than 5%. This trend clearly suggests that people tend to listen to radio only during the morning hours. Coming to the number of people watching television, no audience prefer to watch television at the start of the day. After that, the numbers witnessed a constant rise during the day and it's highest viewership in the evening with every 1 out of 2 people watching television. This was followed by a gradual fall by the end of the day. This explains that more and more number of people watch television during the evening times.
