The graph below shows the changing patterns of access to modern technology in homes in the UK (expressed in percentage terms).

The given diagram compares four types of new-brand technologies access rate in the united kingdom during 14 years. Overall, all lines have had upward trends until 2005, but two of them (Mobile phones and CD players) have experienced a steady access trend from 2005 to 2008. On the other hand, CD players which were the most accessible technology lost their shares and switched their rank by DVD players. It's clear, the most popular devices are DVD players which the people access increased significantly from 30 percent in 2000 to 80 percent in 2003 and then has continued to rise gradually until the year 2008. Also, UK's access to internet connection saw a sharp growth and reached 30 percent in 2000, then its rise continued steadily within remain 8 years.
