The graph below shows sales figures of 3 book genres form 2015 to 2021 Ykgod
The line graph gives information about the number of books sold between 2015 and 2021. Sales are divided into three different genres (fantasy, horror, romance) and are indicated in millions. Overall, sales in fantasy and horror genres grew considerably while romance books experienced a serious drop. Fantasy books which started at around 10 million in sales gradually increased and doubled its number by 2019. After this rise, it reached its highest point at 30 million with a sudden surge in 2020. In the last year of the period, it showed a slight decrease to about 28 million. Starting in 2015 horror books rose from around 21 million to 30 million by 2019. After this peak, it started to fall to 25 million over 2 years. In contrast, romance books were the top seller in 2015 with about 28 million in sales. It fluctuated and stayed at the same level between 2015 and 2018. From 2018 onward, sales plummeted dramatically and saw a dip of at 10 million.
