The provided chart illustrates spending of two countries ( Vietnam and Malaysia) in terms of education over the course of 10 years starting from 2008. Units are measured in percent of GDP. Overall, while the expenditure of Vietnam on education was higher than Malaysia during the first year, it inverted in the final year. Moreover, although the trends of 2 figures were opposite, they were both limited from 4 to 6 percent throughout the years, experiencing the same decrease in the 2 last years at roughly the same point.
