The line graph illustrates how many people visited four different countries from 1995 to 2010.
Overall, there was a noticeable increase in the number of visitors to all these four countries. It is also obvious that France had by far the highest visitor numbers in each year. Interestingly, China showed the greatest change, and it was the only country showing no drop over the period.
Starting with France and China first, we can see that the figure for the former and the latter was 60 and 20 million respectively. While the count for visitors to China grew steadily to approximately 55 million over the next 15 years, France’s trend initially had risen by around 18 million by 2000, before slightly dipping in 2005 and recovering to this number in the final year.
The number of visitors who paid a visit to the other two countries showed a smaller difference, however. Growing progressively from about 35 to roughly 55 million, the count of visitors to Spain experienced a slight decline to 50 million. The USA’s number, meanwhile, went up from about 43m in 1995 to just over 50m in 2000, thereafter which it rose significantly to amount to 60 million in the last year, having witnessed a 1-million drop in 2005.
