The given line graph illustrates the changes in the figure for transport registrations for the three most popular types of commercial vehicle during 40 years. Overall, it is clear that the proportion of truck and bus registration experienced a downward trend, while that of taxis witnessed an upward trend throughout the years. Also, bus was least popular type of transport among the categories. Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that the proportion of truck registration was highest in 1970, was nearly 50%. Then it plummeted to 30% in the next 10 years. While the opposite was true for the percentage of taxis and bus registration, both of these observed a sharp increase from data between 1970 and 1980. In 1970, the taxi registration rate held the second place, twice as few as trucks but higher than the proportion of buses at the same time. Moreover, the taxi registration rate dived significantly nearly halve from 1980 to 2000, it was below 20%. But in the next 10 years, it soared dramatically above 30%. Besides, the bus registration rate saw a continuously slight decrease of 3% between 2000 and 2010. At the same time, the figure for truck registration grew moderately by about 10% and it obtained more than the figures for taxi and bus combined.
