The graph below show free time activities

The given line graph illustrates how a number of free time activities of seniors in the United States between 1980 and 2010. It can be seen that hiking was an activity, which the elderly enjoyed the most, while the rate of theater experienced a decrease. According to the line graph, the percentage of hiking was first recorded in 1980 at exactly 20%, then it dramatically went up to 40%. After that, this rate sharply increased to its highest point at 80%. This is followed by watching TV, which started the highest percentage at 60%. Afterwards, TV viewers slightly rose to 70% in 2000, and then slowly declined to around 65% in the last year. Whereas the elderly spent time surfing the internet at the lowest point in its beginning year, accounting for approximately 5%, it gradually increased to nearly 17% in 2000. Finally, it significantly went up to exactly 50% in 2010, which surpassed the amount of theater. Likewise, the number of reading people moderately escalated from 30% in 1980 to 40% in 1990, on the contrary there was a slight decline to 20% in 2000. Then, it skyrocketed to 60% in the final year. On the other hand, the proportion of theater markedly went down to 30% in 1990, on the contrary it gradually climbed to 40% in the following ten year. Moreover, there was a slow increase to merely above 40% at the end of the period.
