The given line graph illustrates data on the mean price of wheat, barley and oats in England and Wales between January and August in the year 2014, and the displayed table describes how many tones of cereals were purchased. Overall, it can be apparently seen that the cost of three types of cereals declined steadily over eight months, however the number of sold cereals fluctuates and in final month increased except oats. In January, wheat estimated for approximately 160 UK pounds per ton and reached the highest point in April, about 170 UK ponds. But in April its number that was sold decreased dramatically and recorded only 56300, while in January 76800 tons of wheat was vent. By August its price was reduced to 120 pounds, so as a result purchase of wheat increased significantly and showed 131700. The barley’s price didn’t show significant changes, but the price went down as well as its market was grown up and doubled. Oats’ average cost has the highest point in July and costs about 150 UK ponds, however it didn’t affect its market and the number of sold oats was more by 300 compared with June, while its price was lower. In final month its price went down significantly and average quantity of cereal sold showed a big increase.
