The chart below compares between the consumption of six sources of fuel
for producing energy in the USA over 50 years based on a real data from the past years and a simulation until the year 2050.
It is noticeable that petrol and oil are the most important source of fuel during this period, while the hydropower source seems to show the less production.
Coal and natural Gas has been rose and fell during the period but coal overtook natural gas around the year 2012 and will reach 33 quadrillion in year 2030 while the natural gas will only be 25 quadrillion in the same year.
Nuclear and solar rose only 5 quadrillion over the mentioned period while petrol and oil shows a significant rose since it started with 35 quadrillion in the first year, and will end up with almost 47 quadrillion in 2030.
