The line graph demonstrates energy usage in the USA since 1980 It is including forecasts by 2030. Datas comes from a 2008 document. It is clear that usage of fossil fuels has icreased over the years and it is understood that the future will not different. As for renewable energy sources, the amount of consumption has changed slightly. And, according to report in the future the usage of renewable energy will not change considerably. Petrol and oil usage had risen from 35 quadrillion units to nearly 40 quadrillion units by 2008, while over the same time period figures for coal usage increased from almost 16 quadrillion units to virtually 25 quadrillion units. From 1980 to 2008 the figures for natural gas comsumption have seen negitable icrease. When it comes to renewaş energy sources, nuclear energy consumption saw approximately twofold rise, whereas proportions of solar/wind energy and hydropower usage had hardly changed until 2008.
