Overall, there is a significant surge in water consumption by the different sectors over the period. For instance, the water consumption per person in Brazil outnumbers the water consumption per person in The Democratic Republic of Congo. It’s clearly observed that the water consumption of industrial use and domestic use hovered over the period from 1900 to 1950. However, a slight increase began to appear starting from 1950 in both sectors. On the other hand, the agricultural consumption of water experienced an increase all over the period from 1900 to 2000. It started by consuming about 300km of the global consumption. The industrial use of water surged to reach its highest at approximately 900 km of tye global water consumption.
