The two diagrams provide data about the extintions of species in the tropical forest and the reasons that are threatening plant life. According to the first graph, in 2000 almost 4. 000 species had become extint and this number is bound to become greater over time. In fact, by 2060 there will be a significant increase of extinct species, reaching the peak of 50. 000. Eventually, after this year the figure will have a slower decrease and by 2100 the level will be around 28. 000. For what concern the pie chart, human impact is what is threatening plant life the most, with a percentage of 81. 3. Among all human actions, agricolture is the one that has the highest impact, followed by harvesting. There are other threats to the flora and which are natural events, representing the 18. 7% of the total. An example of these are natural disasters, with a rate of 7%. To conclude, the level of extinctions in tropical forests will become higher and higher, untill eventually it will fall. During this period of time, the main cause of the reduction of plant life will be human activity.
