The given table shows the development in medical treatment in 3 various countries for the period of 20 years from 1980 to 2000. Looking at the table, it can be seen clearly that there was an upward trend in the number of patients and the bed quantity during the whole period, while the opposite trend was witnessed in the amount of time staying in the hospital. The number of UK and US patients had steadily increased over the 20 years, the figures raise by 60, 000 and 35, 000 respectively. Meanwhile, in the first 10 years, the number of AUS patients grew rapidly, reaching 100 thousand, and decreased by 10 thousand in the 10-year following. Staying time in the hospital in both three nations decreased by 5, 4, 6 days for the UK, the US, AUS respectively. Regarding the number of beds provided in the first 10 years, while the US and AUS decided to decrease their possessions by 3000 and 1000 respectively, the UK was the only nation that witnessed growth. In the remaining 10 years, there were significant growths in the figures in 3 countries.
