The pie charts illustrate money spend on 7 different categories by American people varied from1966 to 1996. The scale is in percentage. Overall, money spent on food was the highest in the initial year which overtaken by cars in end of the period. Whereas, expenditure on books was dropped along with the time. In 1966, as regards of computers, it accounted for 1%, and experienced rise of 10%, in the year 1996. Point of books, it comprised of 7% in 1966, which increased to 14%, in 1996. The initial figure for cars was 23% and incline of 45% was observed at the end. As regards food, which had ratio of 44% in the beginning, fell to 14%, in 1996. In 1966, money spent on Petrol was 9%, which dropped by 1%, in 1996. Whereas, expenditure on furniture was 10%, in 1966 was reduced to 8% in the end of the period.
