Overall, the graph includes three railways network which was National rail network, London underground, and Light rail and metro systems. In the beginning of the year 1950, there werenot single passengers travelling in Light rail and metro systems. As per graph, it is visible that from the beginning and up to end, there were least utilization of metro and light rails. One thousand millions of travellers in Britain has taken national rail routes whereas about 700 million passengers travelled by underground networks. The line graph shows the fluctuation of number of British people travelling in national rail network and London underground. There was sudden rise about 1150 millions passenger travelling in rail route in around 1958. However, it was sharply declined to 650 millions in the year 1982. From 1955 to 1970, underground route the graph remained constant and gradually increased in year 1990, which reached about 820 million passenger. Both National rail network and London underground passengers number got plunged sharly at the end of the year 2004 and 2005. In year 1980, there were nearly zero passengers travelling in Light and metro railways. Travellers numbers were slightly increased in last 14 years.
