The given diagrams illustrate the substantial change and the development that has taken place at West Park Secondary school in 1950, 1980, and 2010. Overall, it can be seen that, farmland and houses in West Park Secondary School in 1950 was be replaced by car park in 2010 with almost the same size. In 1980, Car park and Science block were replaced by three houses on the left side of the school in front of the main road. Farmland behind the houses in 1950 has changed to Sports fields in 1980. Furthermore, on the right side of the diagram, there was a school building and a playground behind the school. School building in 1950 was developed into the main school building in 1980 and the playground was still in the same place. By 2010, School main building and Science block were still in the same place in front of the main road. The huge difference that can be seen was the bigger car park which was replaced the sports fields in 1980. Moreover, Sports field was moved into the playground area in 1980. Therefore, playground in 2010 was smaller than the playground in 1980.
