To commence with, it is clearly evident from the chart that, Australia was the most popular place to move to in that period of time. Australia had around 40, 000 British immigrants in 2004, dipping slightly in 2005, before reaching its peak (52, 000 in 2006), and a fall back in to around 44, 000 by the end of period. In contrast, Spain was the 2nd favorite place for the British to move which accounts to around 33, 00 in 2004, inclining a bit in next year and declining in the foregoing years setting itself to 27, 000 in 2007. On the other hand, New Zealand and USA was least preferable for Britishers to migrate. New Zealand starting from 25, 000 immigrants in 2004, and down surging continuously before reaching 20, 000 in 2007. Similarly, the latter starting at 25, 000 in 2004, then showing a pattern of down scale and upscale before reaching 20, 000 in 2007. In France, there was a sharp upsurge of about 10, 000 emigrants in 2005, and then had a steep downfall to under 20, 000, recording the lowest number of all the countries.
