Overall, the amount earned from the exports of different products in the year 2016 is higher compared to 2015. Export of petroleum products accounts to the highest earnings in both years compared to any other commodity. The second highest revenue achieved is from exports of engineered goods, followed by gems and jewellery. The second least earning is obtained/contributed by exporting agricultural products, while textiles contributing the least amount of money. There is also a table representing the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015. The earning from export of petroleum products have increased by 3 per cent in 2016 compared to previous year. The revenue collected from engineered goods in 2016 have witnessed a rise of 8. 5 per cent, while gems and jewellery have witnessed a decrease of revenue by 5. 81% in the preceding year (2016).
