The maps show how the city centre has changed over 300 years. Farms and farm fields are reduced and modern houses, flats are established in 300 years. The market square in the mid of the town centre and church are unchanged but the hotel next to it is expanded. The Steggle Farm is demolished for a 3-lane road construction. High street and market roads are expanded and traffic lights are installed at a junction connecting Steggle road and high street. Goode Farm is converted into a car parking area and few shops are established there. The fields are used to construct more houses and shops. The number of houses across St Peter Lane are increased and the stables have now become a block of flats. The farm land is also used to open a new supermarket in the town centre across the market street road.
