With regards to housework, majority of females(80%) do cooking as opposed to 60% for males. Similarly, the percentage of women doing cleaning is higher than males, around 61% and 40% respectively. The figures for pet care are quite identical for both genders at 20%. Interestingly, 20% of male do house repairs whereas merely 2% of females do this task. Turning to time spend on housework, women spend more than 80% minutes and 60% on cookinh and cleaning, which is around 20 minutes higher than males. Both males and females spend approximately 20 minutes on pet care. The amount of time spend by males on house repairs accounts for 20 minutes. On the other hand, women spend only about 5 minutes on doing house reapairs.
