The diagrams compare how different an island is after it became an attraction for tourism, compared to its original. It has experienced major changes both on land and under the beaches without affecting the natural resources much. It was just a desert island before some tourist facilities decided to make constructions at this place. There was sand everywhere and spare nature plants on the surface of the island which was surrounded by bodies of water. Once having undergone a period of time to modernize the whole land, it has become gradually crowded and filled full of amenities. Many new tourist conveniences have been built, including accommodations are both on the right and left of the island; a reception to welcome guests is right at the center and a restaurant was constructed behind it. Furthermore, new entertaining areas were also made in order to draw travelers as much as they can, such as renting boats to visit the ocean and a pier leading from land to this area can be seen in front of the reception. It is worth noticing that no woodcutting took place as trees are present in both maps even though many footpaths and vehicle tracks were erected for the need of connecting these destinations. The main tracks for transportation are used to transfer between the restaurant, the reception and also the pier for boats. Besides, the footpaths linked all the residential areas together and on the left of the reception, it leads to the beach where now swimming activity is available while the open space in the east island remained unchanged.
