The diagrams below show the design for a wave-energy machine and its location. p8Oy
The diagram illustrates the working of a wave-energy generator machine. The wave energe machine consists of various different parts like the turbine, the electricity generator etc. The main working principle of Wave-energe machine is that the movement of waves generate electricity. As the waves flow and the water level rises in the wave-energy machine it causes the air to flow at high velocity inside the machine which in turn makes the turbine to rotate. The other half of the turbine is rotated by the atmospheric air from above the machine. As a result the rotation of turbine electricity is generated. The air after hitting the turbine blades return to the chamber on the left side of the machine back to the water. The wave-energy machines can be set up in one of the following two locations. The first location is setting up the machine at the area where the waves are large which will result in high output but the disadvantage with this kind of set up is that the cost of installation is high. The second location is setting up the machine at the area where there are comparatively smaller waves which will result in lower output where the installation costs are lower. I would like to conclude by saying that it is worth to set-up the wave-energy machines at the areas of larger waves as the output will be high.
