The pictures illustrate how West Park Secondary School had changed from 1950 to 2010. Firstly, the farmland was converted into a sports field in 1980 then was transformed into a car park in 2010. The car park was extended in 2010 and the sports field occupied part of the playground. Secondly, the houses disappeared in 1980 and the space was turned into car park and science block. The Science block was added beside the school main building in 1980 while both the school main building and the playground remained in the same location although the playground became smaller in 2010. Lastly, the main road remained unchanged through the years. Overall, the main changes were on the farmland and the houses which were removed from the map. Science block, car park and sports field were built and the playground was reduced in size.
