First, like any other gasoline car, it burns fuel into the engine to generate energy, and then sends it to the transmission. The transmitted power causes the wheel to spin and sets the car in motion. A gasoline car is different from others because it has another source of energy, or rather a battery, which requires less fuel. While driving, it can maintain the energy level and store it in a special unit. When the engine needs additional power, the control unit begins to extract from the battery or from the gasoline engine and directs it to the electric motor. After that, the power is transferred to the transmission and forces the car to move along the road.
