The first part of the large container to which dirty water flows for filtration is a layer of filter paper. The water then passes through the filter paper and continues down to pass through gravel and small rocks. Once it has passed through this layer, it continues to the fine sand layer for further filtration. The final filter layer is then a cotton wool filter. Once the water has passed through this layer, it eventually appears as dean water. In conclusion, it can be seen that dirty water is poured at the beginning of the filtration process and when it has passed 4 stages of filtration it will become clean water.
