The diagram illustrates the carbonated beverage production. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the procedures can be divided into 5 steps, namely 1. water cleaning, 2. heating evaporation and carbonation, 3. mixing, 4. filtering and filling and 5. packaging. To begin with, raw water is purified in the first stage by the filter, then the water is induced by a pump to flow through a container which consists of water softener and chemicals. Secondly, the water is heated by electric heaters and then it flows through a cooling pipe. After that, the water is carbonated by the carbonation process which uses carbon dioxide. Thirdly, the carbonated water is then mixed in the mixing tank and colouring, syrup and flavour is extracted from the water. Afterwards, another filter is used to filter the water. Fourthly, the water is filled in a variety types of containers which are bottles and cans. Finally, the containers which contains water is packaged and is distributed by trucks to the supermarket.
