The diagram demonstrates the life cycle of the Female Mosquito. Vyj97
The diagram demonstrates the life cycle of the Female Mosquito. Overall, the life of the female mosquito includes seven steps, emerging from eggs to mature mosquito. The whole cycle can be divided into two main stages - larval stages and maturity. The first stage commences when a female mosquito lays eggs at week one, which then hatch into a small larval, which is called the first larval stage. A small larval subsequently develops and reaches the third stage, which doubles in size during week two. The previous development of the larval can be seen in the third and fourth stages. The cycle continues after week five, the larval experience significant changes and morphs into a pupal, which is called the pupal stage. By week six, the insect forms head and tail clearly, the pupa is twice as large as the previous stage - fourth larval stage. During week seven and eight, the insect shows a full growth, it has all six feets and wings expanded to full size and mosquito ready to fly and reproduce. After which, the life cycle of female mosquitoes starts again.
