The diagram demonstrates how sugar can be generated from sugar cane.
The progress consists of a total seven stages of various time lengths, starting by growing sugar canes.
At the first step of the manufacture, sugar canes have been grown for approximately 12-18 months before being harvested by farmers. They yielded all the canes by hand or by the cropping machines in order not to take up much time. Once having done in gathering sugar canes, a crushing machine will have worked in preparation for turning sugar canes into the liquid form called juices.
Looking at the fourth step, the juices will be purified through a limestone filter, removing all the retains and bubbles for a standard quality one. After having evaporated under a heat with high temperature, the cleanse juice became syrups but mixed with sugar crystals. These crystals have to be separated from the mixture by a centrifuge in the next step, preparing the syrups for the next procedure. Last but not least, the drying and cooling stage is the most important stage overall. While sugar drying removes excess moisture using heat, cooling the sugar brings it to an ideal temperature and finally ready for storage and transport.
