In the first stage of the process, all used cans are collected in suitable boxes and then cans are transported to the factory by using trucks. After that, cleaning, sorting, shredding and compressing processes are carried out on cans and then in the next step of the process, all cans are heated and melted into the boiler. Once the material melted, it rolled out to make surface 2. 5mm to 6. 5mm thick.
Furthermore, in the second last stage, rolled material is shaped into the proper can and stickered out on the outer surface of the cans. Finally, these cans are ready for filling of drinks.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that, recycling process of aluminum cans contains total seven steps to begin with collection of used cans and ended with filling of various cold drinks. Surprisingly, around 70% cans are recycled in Great Britain per year.
