The diagram below shows the process by which bricks are manufactured for the building industry. ggad
This figure illustrates the way in which bricks are manufactured for construction industry. Overall, there are seven stages in the process of making bricks and beginning with clay and culminating in delivery. Besides there are two ways of shaping it into rectangular form. The process of making bricks takes a lot of time in desiccation and cooling. In order to make bricks, clay has to be dug by excavator then it is ground into smaller pieces and mixed with sand and water. Once we get that compound, next stage is to form a shape of brick. This can be either done by wire cutting machine or moulding. When the bricks are shaped, they have to be dried for 24 - 48 hrs in a kiln which is heated at modest temperature, 200 - 980 degree celsius, then at high temperature, 870 - 1300 degree celsius. Thereafter, the hardened bricks need to be cooled down for 2 - 3 days at cooling chamber. After 72 hrs of cooling process is done, the package of bricks can be distributed to construction sites.
