The diagram depicts life chronology of salmon. There are approximately 8 stages in chronology life of salmon ranging from laying eggs to migrating back to the river.
The first stage is spawning, the adult salmon lay their eggs in the river for a period of time. The eggs prepare for incubation before hatching, after emerging from their egg shells the baby salmon continue to swim in the fresh water until they are big enough to move to the estuary.
In couple months the juvenile will travel around until they reach their maturity to migrate to the sea. When they arrive to the sea, some of them get caught by the fisherman while the others salmon proceed to live in the sea to reach their fully adult phase. From here, the survivors will begin their journey to the river and start the spawning process again. That is how the life cycle of salmon start from eggs to fully adult salmon.
