You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The diagram below shows how electricity is generated in a hydroelectric power station.

The diagram illustrates in a way of which energy is produced by a hydroelectric power plant. Overall, all of the process is divided into 5 parts, with the beginning step is from a river and finishing off to a national grid. First of all, water from a river flow into a higher level lake with dam as the door of its entrance. Then the water will be transported in a tube that open at daytime and close at nighttime, which flows in a opposite direction during both time frame. After that, the water continues its process to a two-way turbine, which operate at daylight and send the water from lower level lake to the lagoon at dark. Following this, the water will power the generator and producing energy, which happen in the area called the power station. Lastly, the energy will be transferred to a national grid using power lines.
