The charts provide information about the weight of Charlestown population in 1955 and 2015. Overall, it can be seen that people with ideal weight are dominant in all age categories over the period. Underweight people decreased while obese and overweight people percentage increased from 1955 to 2015.
Looking at the first categories, most of the population which is more than 50% in every age are ideal weighted for both year 1955 and 2015. Obese people were around less than 10% in 1955 and only in age 40-69 then increased to around the average of 30% for all age categories in 2015 similarly with overweight population which increased in all age categories from 20% as the peak high in 1955 age 30-39 then doubled to 40% for the same age category (30-39) and it goes same to the other age categories.
In contrast, underweight population increased almost half as much as the first data from 1955 which approximately the average of 40% from all age categories to just half as the number which is under 20% in 2015.
