The chart shows data about rentals and sales of films, regardless it’s format, of a store from the year 2002 to 2011. We will analyze the information of each year in four main categories: rentals, VHS sales, DVD sales and Blu-ray sales. First, it is noticeable that the rentals have been decreasing. In the year 2002 there were approximately almost 200, 000 films rented. By 2008 there were less than 150, 000 and for 2011 about 70, 000. Similarly occurred with VHS sales, but in this case, for 2006 there were 0 oil sales in this format. Even though Blu-ray movies sales are increasing, they are still not as popular as DVD sales, with no more than 10, 000 a year. DVD sales are actually the most popular film format, and had a surprising increase in it sales from the years 2002 to 2007, getting to more than 200, 000 number of sales. Unfortunately, they had a small decrease this last years.
