The two pie charts illustrate the various aspects of employees who prefer both cycling and car for work. Overall, it seems that the majority of the people do cycling for work because of health and pollution reasons. Conversely, those who travel by car want to have a comfortable journey and to travel long distances. Turning to the first chart, we can observe that health and fitness and Less pollution are the two major reasons workers prefer bicycles to work with a proportion of 30% each respectively. 15% of employees choose bicycle due to parking problems. In addition, 13% of people consider it as a cheaper mode of transport than driving by car. Surprisingly, 12% of people mentioning that they are reaching quickly to the office while traveling via bicycle than by car. Taking a closer look at the second chart, we can see that two-fifth of the people prefer cars because of the comfort. Traveling more distance to work is the second most preferred reason for workers to choose cars as their mode of transport.
