The pie chart illustrates the proportion of adults customers shopping tendency on the Internet if U. S in 2015, while the bar chart shows the preferences of the customer between buying online and buying in physical stores by a variety of time. Overall, it is clear that less often online shoppers take most space of the pie chart. While in the bar chart, buying in physical stores out number shopping online in most types, except for weekly online shopper. According to the pie chart people who spend less time on shopping online registered the highest percentage at 37%. This is followed by a few times a month shoppers with only 9% less, which ranked second in the pie chart by 28%. Other was people who never purchased online for 20% and the smallest proportion which is weekly online shoppers with 15%. A closer look at the bar chart reveals that less frequent online shoppers occurred the most popular among buying in physical store at 82%, which about 4 times the online shoppers which is only 18%. The same pattern can be seen in all online shoppers section as 65% of it is physical shoppers and only 35% of it is online shoppers. Noticeably, weekly online shoppers are opposite with the others, people chose online at over 62% more than physical shopping which is about 38%. Last is monthly online shoppers which didn’t have that much impression than the other with about 40% people choose to shop online and 60% choose the other option ( shopping in physical stores).
