In regards to the rural areas, there was a steady decline in the number of unemployment rate recorded which is from 6. 5% in the first quarter until 4. 5% in the middle of the second quarter. It then took a dramatic rise till the third quarter (5. 5%) before experiencing a small fluctuation for the rest of the year and stopped at 5%.
On the other hand, the rate in the city has drastic rose around 2% in the first two quarters of the year. However, the trend seems to drop back to where it started in the third quarter.
